N A R C I S S A . S T E V E N S Human Profile ​ " Light Persists " Name: Narcissa Stevens. Alias: Izzy. Age: 21 years old. Species: Human and something else, she just doesn't know what...yet. Scent: Juniper Berries " Home isn't where you're from, it's where you find the light when all goes dark" Mother: Gertrude Stevens. Father: All that she has is a name, Dimitru. " If you live in the dark long enough, you start to forget what the light looks like. " Height: 5 feet 8 inches. Weight: 85 pounds. Skin: Fair complexion, although she is paler than usual due to malnutrition. Frame: Thinner than is considered healthy. Her ribs are starting to protrude and her face is gaunt. Hair: Her hair sits just above her shoulders and is naturally a very dark brown almost black. She had blonde money pieces and ends that appeared five years ago. Eyes: Her most striking feature is her eyes. Known as central heterochromia, the centre of Narcissa's eyes are a vivid green that turns blue as they expand out. She assumes she's gotten these from her father. Clothes: She only has the clothes on her back right now, dark ripped-up jeans, heavy combat boots, an oversized t-shirt, a baggy sweatshirt a heavy long coat and a beanie to keep her warm on those cold nights. Birthmark: Narcissa has a birthmark that never faded just below the crook of her left elbow. Unknown to her it is the Dagaz Day rune. Colour Palette: " There's a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in." Narcissa appears to be a quiet and reserved young woman, always on the outskirts, hiding in the darkness, out of sight. She can't afford to trust easily with the target on her back and her life on the run won't allow herself to form any meaningful relationships. When she can, she will be found in some hole-in-the-wall cafe with a book and a black coffee, researching and trying to figure out what she is before Ox Corp can capture her and she finds out the hard way. When she's not researching, she's trying to network with anyone she thinks might lead her to the name Dimitru. She's spent the last five years living on the streets, stealing to eat and having to fight to survive. Lucky for her, she's stronger than she appears even when she's starving. But it made her guarded and defensive. The girl she once was seems to have disappeared for one sole purpose, surviving long enough to find out what she is. Abilities Known and Unknown to Narcissa Light Manipulation: can create, shape and manipulate visible light, commonly referred to as light, is electromagnetic radiation that is visible to the human eye, and is responsible for the sense of sight. Blindness Inducement: can induce temporary or permanent blindness in other beings and greatly hinder opponents by taking away one of their most important sensory abilities. Invisibility: can render themselves or other objects unseen by the naked eye and become invisible in the visible spectrum. Laser Beam Emission: can create and project beams of laser that are capable of piercing virtually anything they come in contact with and have explosive properties. The user can control the intensity of their beams for a variety of effects ranging from harmless to combustible. Light Absorption: can absorb light or its partial wavelengths, while removing it from the source, into their body and use it in various ways, gaining some form of advantage, either by enhancing themselves, gaining the drained power, using it as a power source etc., either temporarily or permanently. Light Generation:  can generate light of various intensities. Light Teleportation: can teleport via light/photons, merging with or transforming into light and appearing anywhere else from the same element. Supernatural Speed: can move at light speed. Semi-Immortal: can slow down her ageing but is not immortal. Glass Manipulation and/or Reflection Manipulation can bounce light back with a reflective surface. No matter how powerful the light is, it will pass through anything completely transparent. Could be overwhelmed by Darkness Manipulation. Semi-Immortality " In the right light, at the right time, everything is extraordinary. " Narcissa or Izzy as she goes by now, had an average human life. She was the result of a drunken one-night stand her mother had twenty-one years ago. Unfortunately, her mother didn't remember much of the encounter except that his name was Dimitru. But her mother had done the best she could as a single mother. Gertrude Stevens had worked and they had never had much but they had everything they needed. It wasn't easy, especially when Izzy started to develop "quarks". Quarks that her mother had spent years trying to get her to suppress and hide. For sixteen years, this had been her life, until Ox Corp started vaccinating the human population. Ox Corp had been in Lacrimosa for as long as she could remember but with her strange abilities, her mother had been nervous about her getting the vaccine but when the soldiers turned up at their house, they had very little choice. That's when her world turned upside down, a tiny prick, a drop of blood and her life as she knew was over. That red screen and beeping alerting everyone that non-human blood had been detected set a series of events into motion that Izzy had been running from for five years. Alone, and on the run, Izzy has crossed continents to try and get answers and figure out once and for all who and more importantly what she is.
