Morning Routine: Tag Peter & Coran - Page 2 Empty Re: Morning Routine: Tag Peter & Coran

"I don't feel like you are giving me much choice," he sighed in response. If he didn't let Cass examine him, she would be on his case even more, as would Peter. No, he had no choice. He needed to get this over and done with. Maybe then they would give him the space he needed.
Her fingers gently pressed into his body with each sticker, and he fought to ignore the sensation of warmth for them. Cass's touch was once something he enjoyed, but not anymore. He couldn't risk his power fluctuating around her, not when he didn't know what he was capable of.

The blood would distract him, so he lifted the bag, snagging it with his teeth so he could drain the contents. "What?" he frowned, glancing at the now half-empty bag with a confused and disgusted expression.
It didn't taste right. "What did you do?" he demanded, feeling a subtle tingling as the blood worked through his system, making him feel suddenly unsteady against the bed. A wave of vertigo made him squeeze his eyes shut as he tried to clear his head. But when he opened them, Cass was acting strangely. The colour drained from her face as her eyes searched his for answers he didn't have.

Before he knew what was happening, Cass dropped the lead and started to sag against the bed. "Hey!" he sat up quickly, grabbing Cass's shoulders as she slipped beside him.
"Hey, Cass..." he shook her shoulders and quickly climbed off the bed, lifting her against him to keep her from falling. But she flopped into his hold, her head lax as she passed out. What the fuck was going on?
"Hey, wake up!" his hand lifted to cup the side of her face, lifting it in his direction, but his eyes were blurring. "Hey, a little help in here!" he shouted, feeling another wave of vertigo sway through him.

He was going to fall and wrapped his arms around Cass to shield her as he stumbled sidelong into the machines beside the bed, before his legs gave out, sending the pair toppling to the ground beside the bed.
He fought back, struggling to stay awake as he heard footsteps coming down the hallway towards them. "In here..." He sighed, feeling a heaviness he could not fight as the drugs pulled him into sleep. "We're in..."
Someone walked into the room, but he couldn't see them as his body forced him into sleep.

Elizabeth, or Beth, as she was known in the clinic, stood with her back pressed against the door where Cass and Coran remained bickering. Unfortunately for Cass, Elizabeth had ample opportunity to get a hold of her blood. She had been saving it for just such an occasion. Rubbing the blood between her fingers, she smiled wickedly as she whispered. " Let she who rouses from her sleep return at once to slumber deep. " Elizabeth repeated it three times before Cass eventually succumbed to the spell's effects. She smirked as she heard Coran calling out for help, but his cries wouldn't be heard. She would make sure of that.

She opened the door just in time to see Coran collapse to the ground with Cass wrapped in his arms. They hit the floor together, with Coran's body taking the brunt. She scoffed as she noticed the blood bag was only half drunk on the bed. " Hmm, now that won't do. " her fingers danced in the air, and the residual blood escaped through the two puncture holes that Coran had made. The blood moved across the bed and poured down the bed. Eliza contemplated forcing it down Coran's throat but Cass, thanks to her earlier blood draw, had given Eliza an easier in. The blood pooled on Coran's arm, over the crease of his elbow, where slowly, the blood seeped through the puncture hole and into Coran's veins.

" Wouldn't want you waking up early; you'll miss out on all the fun. " she chuckled as she walked toward the pair and unceremoniously stepped over them. She sat in the folding chair and stared down at the couple sleeping soundly on the floor. Coran's attempts to push Cass away and convince her that she meant nothing to him had failed. Cass may have fallen for his act, believing that Coran hated her but seeing him protect Cass from even a simple fall showed the contrary. She would feel bad for involving Cass if she didn't know how much she secretly wanted this. Even if she didn't, Coran's powers would soon convince her she did, and Eliza would stay by their side to ensure Cass's safety. After all, she was a mere human, and Coran had been suppressing his urges for a long time. There was no way of telling how far he would take this when she finally let him free.

Reaching over one the tables, she grabbed a scalpel as her usual jewellery wasn't workplace appropriate. She sliced her palm and allowed the blood to pool before she poured some into her other hand, dividing the blood into equal parts. Speaking to her right hand, she whispered. " Spirit of the beast within, ignite the fires of the flesh so that all desires unite. " She then turned to speak to her left, enchanting the rest of the blood. " Spirit of the beast within, let loose your powers and unleash your will. " as she finished her spell, she rose and bent down over the pair. She placed her right hand across Cass's forehead and her left across Coran's. She laughed a little as she rose to take back her seat and licked the blood from her hands. " Have fun, you two... " she muttered as she crossed her legs and waited for the passionate chaos to ensue.

The first thing Cass became aware of was the ground beneath her. It was cold and hard and gave her goosebumps all over her body. Then she was aware of a weight on top of her, but it was warm and smelled amazing. It was like all her favourite things combined to make the most incredible aroma. She began to stir and forced her heavy eyelids to open, which felt like it took far more effort than it should have. She tried to move, but something or someone surrounded her, which was heavenly. Cass sighed and relaxed as she snuggled in closer to the source of the heat and the intoxicating smell.

After a few moments of enjoying the sensation, she was compiled to open her heavy eyelids. Slowly, the shapes around her became more recognisable, and a soft gasp left her lips as she finally recognised Coran. He lay beside her, still topless and unconscious, his arms wrapped around her, pressing her against him. " Coran? " she whispered, eyes scanning his face for any reaction. She didn't remember how they got on the floor; in fact, she didn't remember getting to the clinic this morning. There was a part of her that nagged at her mind, something didn't feel quite right, but those concerns were suppressed and forgotten about the longer she took Coran's features in.

Her heart began beating faster in her chest, and her breathing changed as her hand delicately traced up Coran's torso. It felt so wrong, yet her every instinct was screaming at her to go further. She knew she shouldn't; in her mind, she knew that Coran wouldn't have wanted this, not from her, but he was impossible to resist. Her hands suddenly wanted to explore every facet of his body, and her lips wanted, no needed, to know what he tasted like. Did he taste as good as he suddenly smelled?

" Coran, I... " Cass didn't even know what to say. She had hidden her feelings for him for years. But it was like everything was amplified, overwhelming her senses and any inhibitions she may have had. Her hand reached his chest, and she could feel his heartbeat pounding. The rhythm of its beat vibrated through her body, heightening her every nerve. His heat was more intense, his touch sending jolts of electricity to her core.

Resisting her urges was becoming unbearable when a familiar voice echoed in her head. " Give in, Cassandra. " It ordered her, and her body obeyed as her hands moved around Coran's neck, and her lips pressed forward to meet his. An explosion went off inside of her as she kept Coran within her grasp. It was like one small act of intimacy had suddenly made her an addict, and her body craved more; it needed more. Her kiss deepened, and her desperation grew as she clung to Coran as though her life depended on it because that's how it felt. As illogical as it was, she knew in every cell of her body that she couldn't survive another day without knowing every part of Coran's body intimately.

Morning Routine: Tag Peter & Coran - Page 2 Empty Re: Morning Routine: Tag Peter & Coran

Post by Coran ValencieSat 18 Mar 2023 - 21:46

Coran 'Woke' to the overwhelming sensation of longing. It was a feeling he'd been shoving down for years, yet now it was at the surface, bubbling over, and he couldn't do anything about it. Power rippled through like a freak wave, filling every part of him until he opened his eyes with a gasp.

Cass- He could smell her; he could feel her. She swam into his vision as her fingers ran along the front of his body, drawing sensitive lines into his skin. He felt a shudder run over him, his breath catching as his eyes focused on her parted lips, his name upon them.
His arms were around her. His normal reaction would be to withdraw them, but everything about her was overwhelming him.

Something was wrong, a panicked voice called in the very depths of his mind, urging him to stop. But it was easily drowned out as Cass's body pressed against him, fitting against him as though she belonged there. Her hands snaked his neck, pulling him closer as she lifted herself against him, her lips finding him in a kiss that broke every carefully constructed restraint he had spent a lifetime building. He felt energy course through him like electricity, reviving unknown life into Coran until he groaned against the softness of her lips, consuming her energy as it awakened something deep inside of him.

Her life force filled him as their lips pressed together, Coran's primal side stirring as he pulled her against him with a renewed energy, his lips pushing against hers until he felt like she would break like glass against him. Only then did he turn his face away, letting her take a breath as he pushed her hair back, exposing her neck to him. His fangs ached as he traced the artery there, his hand wrapping into her hair, pulling it back until she had to fully expose her throat to him.

Her heartbeat drove him to distraction. He wanted to consume every part of her, starting with her blood. "Keep still," he instructed, his voice two-toned as the demonic side of him started to push closer to the surface, some of his skin becoming darker as it hardened and cracked.
But he didn't notice, not when Cass's blood pounded too loud in his ears. Her breathing was elevated, as was her heartbeat, and he smirked, sinking his fangs into her without further warning. Warm blood filled his mouth. He'd waited for centuries to taste it, and it didn't disappoint, the power he felt shook through him, his arms wrapping to hold her tighter against him, his fingers gripping into her pale flesh, bruising it.

He drank deeply until he felt her heart rate change, forcing him to stop before he killed her. He pulled away with a frustrated sigh, his hands instantly sliding beneath Cass's clothing, heavily roaming over her smooth skin as he caught his breath. "These need to come off."

The kiss wasn't at all what Cass had expected. Her lips met his, and it was like she had unlocked something deep within, and it surged to the surface. His kiss was desperate and passionate; she felt this strange pull that she couldn't describe but somehow didn't feel right. Apart of her knowing something was wrong, that whatever was happening was dangerous, but it felt so right Cass couldn't have objected if she wanted to. Her body began screaming at her to breathe, but Coran's lips were locked against hers like he needed her more than air. Her head began to spin, as the lack of Oxygen made her dizzy, but still, no hesitation left her lips.

Coran finally left her lips, and it was a bitter-sweet move, as she could finally gasp for a breath, but the sensation of him on her lips was gone. Coran's hands dove into her hair. Her scalp stung as she felt the pull of her hair. She knew what was coming, and for a moment, she felt fear, but it was suppressed, almost like it was snuffed out like a fire as Coran's voice reverberated through her soul. She couldn't move now, even if she wanted to kick or scream. His voice carried an order that she couldn't disobey. But it didn't sound like him; it almost sounded like someone else mimicking his words, she knew she should have been scared, but the only thing she felt was her desperate need for him, and it suppressed all thoughts and emotions that would dampen her desire.

Coran's fangs pierced into her neck without warning, and she gasped as the pain throbbed but quickly passed, replaced by a euphoric high. She moaned in pleasure as his name left her lips. There was that strange feeling that something was wrong, but she didn't seem to care as Coran could have quickly drained her, and she wouldn't have put up a fight. But his fangs soon retracted as his hands slipped under her blouse, his hands leaving goosebumps in his trail. His voice still didn't sound like his own as he told her that her clothes needed to come off, and she couldn't help but take that as an order. Her hands were suddenly able to move again as she began frantically unbuttoning her blouse, exposing her abdomen and chest to the air. She pressed herself against Coran as she slipped the white silk off her shoulders and down her arms, dropping the shirt behind her.

Her hands didn't hesitate as she moved to the zip of her skirt on the side of her hip. She tried sliding the skirt down her legs, Coran's body on top of hers, making it almost possible. " Coran... " she muttered, a plea in her voice as she needed to please him, and she knew that her clothes displeased him. Her skin pressed against Coran's clothes, creating static. The sparks of electricity sent jolts through her, but she needed more; she needed to feel him against her. As she left Coran to deal with what was left of her skirt, her hands ran down his chest to the belt of his trousers. Her fingers pulled on the leather strap and undid the buckle as her toes pushed the shoes off her feet. She was down to her underwear but somehow knew to allow Coran to deal with them.

The nagging feeling in the back of her mind wouldn't cease, but as Coran's hands roamed her body, it was stifled by the waves of pleasure he sent over her. She pushed the trousers down his legs and felt his thighs pressing against her as the fabric was peeled from his skin. She felt his skin against hers, and instead of feeling soft, firm muscles; his skin was oddly hard. Cass managed to break eye contact from those amber hues ' were his eyes always that colour? ' she thought to herself before glancing at his body. She gasped as she noticed patches of dark cracking skin appearing all over his body.

" Coran..are you ok? " she asked as her hands tentatively touched the affected area of skin. Something was really wrong, and despite the almost overwhelming urge to give into her carnal desires, her love and concern were greater than her lust for him and gave her the briefest moment of clarity to express her worry before her eyes rolled back into her head. She moaned as Coran made her forget all about the black rash, and her hand moved to grab his now freed member, and she began fulfilling his every whim, which were now hers.

Morning Routine: Tag Peter & Coran - Page 2 Empty Re: Morning Routine: Tag Peter & Coran

Post by Coran ValencieMon 27 Mar 2023 - 11:08

As Cass removed her shirt, Coran's hand roamed over the now-exposed flesh, feeling his way along every inch of her smooth skin until logistics forced him to pull away with a frustrated sigh. Cass struggled to remove her skirt, and he briefly paused, curving to create more space between them. His impatient hands moved to roughly pull it from her, tossing it aside before he closed the space once again,  feeling Cass's hands tugging pleasingly at his belt.

He grinned against her skin, pressing his teeth to her shoulder, enough to indent but not break the flesh as he took a long breath, filling himself with her scent. It buzzed his body with energy, making every cell feel intoxicated, he'd never felt more alive in his long life, and he couldn't get enough of it.

She freed the rest of his body, his legs kicking the remainder of his trousers off as Cass tried to pull away from him, her eyes changing from desire to concern as she looked down at his changing body. Had Coran been in his right mind, the sight would have worried him, but Cass's pause only frustrated him, his demand for her increasing with his irritation.

"Don't worry about that, worry about this.," he snapped his voice a low growl as he pulled the underwear from around her hips, sliding it from her legs quickly, before pressing himself back against her, arms curling around to make short work of her bra while a breath caught in the back of his throat as her hand wrapped around him. Energy burst through his body, the black skin splintering further until amber light seeped through the cracks, illuminating the darkness that seeped across his skin like a spreading rash.

Her touch stirred darkness inside of him, and Coran felt helpless against it as it consumed all rational thought until only the physical sensation of Cass's touch mattered.
He shifted, wrapping an arm underneath her back to pull her with him as he climbed onto his feet, his other arm sweeping everything from the desk with a single swift movement, sending everything including the computer onto the floor without a second's thought.

His fangs ached, and he gave in, forcing Cass to arch against him as he plunged them into the soft flesh above Cass's breast, her heartbeat loud in his ears, her blood pushing him closer to euphoria with every slowing beat.
Her heartbeat weakened faster this time, her body becoming limper in his arms, her head sagging back, until he stepped forward, pushing her back onto the table as he retracted his fangs, his tongue lapping the blood before tracing it up towards her jawline, his lips crashing against her parted ones as he forced himself between her legs, the table scraping against the floor as he got into position, a harsh hand wrapping around her upper thigh, fingers curling painfully into her flesh to hold her in place.

"Wake up," he growled, feeling her weakening beneath him, her eyes distant and half-mast, "I'm not done," his other hand moved to harshly grip her chin, turning her head in his direction until he could see life returning to her pale blue eyes. "Stay awake."

Cass couldn't make sense of the growing urges she had to please Coran despite the threat he was posing. He spoke to her in a tone she had never heard before that would have hurt her under ordinary circumstances, but now when he told her not to worry, she didn't. Her worry for his well-being disappeared as she was now consumed with her desire for Coran. What was left of her clothes was removed without care as she felt his breath catch his throat at her touch. This excited her as she knew she was fulfilling this goal to give him everything he needed and wanted from her. His skin cracked, and a strange light shone from him; it was glaring and hurt her eyes but she wasn't worried; Coran told her not to be, so her hand continued to drive Coran into a frenzy while her other roamed up his back, gripping the hair at the base of neck for stability.

That stability was lost as Coran wrapped an arm around her waist and pressed her against him as he swept her off the floor. His flesh was a shocking contrast to the cold of the floor as the light coming from him felt like it would burn her. Her hand left go of him as she grabbed onto his shoulders as her lips pressed against his. One hand kept a firm, almost uncomfortable grip on her as the other cleared everything from the table. She expected to be placed on the table, but Coran's hold hadn't loosened around her yet.

" Coran... " she whispered against his ear as she silently begged him to take her to the table, but instead, his fangs were penetrating her chest near her heart. That was dangerous; she knew it, she knew the risks of taking blood so close to the heart, but as the sweet euphoric venom circulated around her body, she didn't care. Her head lulled backwards as she became light-headed. She felt like she was falling, but it was utter bliss that Cass was slowly slipping into as dark spots began filling her vision. She was vaguely aware of the electric sensation of his tongue on her jawline as she felt something solid beneath her. All Cass wanted to do was to let the sweet darkness take her, but as Coran invaded her mouth and body, she was startled and instinctively tried to jerk free, only to feel Coran's hand keeping her in place.

It was all too much, the pleasure, the pain, the blood loss. Her body couldn't keep up with Coran's immortal one, no matter how much she wanted to. But Coran wouldn't allow her to rest; his hand grabbed her chin painfully and forced her to look at him as he ordered her to stay awake, and like every other order he had given, she couldn't refuse. As consciousness began returning to her, she became more aware of what he was doing to her. His body slammed against hers, his hands keeping her in place as the table rocked against the force beneath her. Her hands reached for his shoulders, wanting to push against him to slow his pace, but her touch only seemed to encourage him.

She moaned as pleasure began to suppress the pain, or maybe the pain gave her pleasure. She wasn't sure, it somehow didn't feel natural, but it was starting to feel good, so she didn't care. She just wanted the sweet euphoria she had experienced a few minutes ago to return. Cass was at his mercy, pinned beneath Coran, but there was none to be found as he was relentless. " Coran.." her voice was hoarse, soft and desperate as he drove her closer towards orgasm. " Oh god.. " she muttered as her muscles contracted, and she squirmed beneath him, but he never slowed. He seemed as desperate for her climax as she was, knowing that her body was obligated to give Coran what he wanted.

Her body arched and pressed against Coran, her hands digging into his back's darkened flesh as a scream of pleasure filled the room. Her body shook beneath Coran's as electricity coursed through her body. The pleasure wasn't like anything she had felt before, and the euphoria was welcome, but it was short-lived, and soon the pain she felt from her hips down was at the forefront of her mind. Her moans of pleasure became tired whimpers of pain as she lay against the table, hoping that Coran's appetite was as satisfied as hers and she would finally be allowed to drift into nothingness as she didn't think she could stay awake much longer even if Coran ordered her too.

Morning Routine: Tag Peter & Coran - Page 2 Empty Re: Morning Routine: Tag Peter & Coran

Post by Coran ValencieFri 7 Apr 2023 - 0:30

Her lifeless eyes blinked a few times until consciousness returned to them, and with that consciousness came her heightened emotions and physical responses, all of which fed his body, quenching his unbearable need to drain every ounce of energy he could. He'd never felt a hunger like it before, and it consumed everything. He wasn't himself- he had turned into some twisted creature that only cared for its hunger. In these moments, Cass was a drug to him, and he was an addict that couldn't help himself from wanting more and more.

A steady hand pinned her down against the table, to constrict any undesired movements, as his other moved to grab the curve of her breast, his grip harsh as he moved against her, pounding her against the table over and over again until he could feel both her pain and her pleasure building up until it was close to erupting.
Her moans drove him into a frenzy, and he started to move faster, his movements violently slamming into Cass's human body. He felt electrified in the best way, his entire body sang with an energy he'd never felt before, and he wanted to drown in it.

The rash of black skin covered the entire left side of his body, the cracks deepening with every thrust. His amber eyes burned bright enough to illuminate the room around them, and the skin above his hairline cracked, two horns peaking through the skin as his demonic form shifted fully for the first time.

She shouted his name and her voice was hoarse. He looked at her, yet his eyes held no compassion or concern. He pushed against her, wrapping both arms around her to hold her against him as she arched back, finally giving in to the pleasure as she climaxed violently within his arms.
It was unlike anything he'd felt, and he crushed her deteriorating body against him, feeling her grip on his back weakening as he kept up the same pace, his actions not slowing in the slightest, in fact, they became even more violent as her pleasure lit through him like pure energy. He lay her back against the table, but her lifelessness irritated him, he could see that she was passing out, and it angered him, so he dragged her back up, holding him against her again. "I'm not done," he growled, but it was no use, her body couldn't cope anymore. He was draining her life from her, but the demonic side of him didn't care. He wasn't going to stop, he couldn't.
It was the best high he'd felt in his long life, and he groaned loudly, continuing to hold her in his arms, lifting her he moved across the room until he could pin her body between his and the wall, so he could drive into her again and again, ignoring her increasing weight as she became limp in his arms.

Eliza sat on the chair, enamoured as her blood dripped from her palm. She smirked as she watched it run down her arm, trying to unite with the blood on Cass's and Coran's foreheads. " It won't be gone for long," she muttered as her blood trail began moving in reverse, following the path back up her arm to her palm. It made its way back into her hand, but she restrained from healing the wound; leaving the wound open kept her spell working and kept her in control. If she was going to keep Coran from killing Cass, she needed to keep him on a leash and be prepared to pull him back when he took it too far because he would; Eliza didn't doubt that.

Almost in unison, their breathing increased, and Eliza could feel Cass trying to resist her urges, and Eliza smirked. " Give in, Cassandra," she whispered and sat back in the chair. She hardly needed any encouragement. Eliza had watched the pair dance around each other for years. Cass was kind, if not naive, a fool in Eliza's opinion to pine after a man who pushed her away at every opportunity, and Coran was the bigger fool to push her away. But his feelings were clear as his skin began to darken and crack. " There it is," she muttered as her eyes carefully glanced over at Cass.

Bruises and swellings began appearing as Coran left his mark on her body. Eliza had planned for his incubus to dream walk, but he was more powerful than she thought. If she had thought he would be leaving actual marks on Cass, she would have let them enjoy the actual thing. But she knew how suppressed Coran had been and wouldn't have risked Cass's safety like that. It would have been like sending a defenceless puppy into a lion's den; even Eliza was above that.

The pair began to moan in their sleep as Coran's form continued to change. Eliza examined him with an almost clinical kind of intrigue. " Imagine what you could do if he fed you... " she said, only imagining the sort of power a vampiric incubus. Vampires already possessed a type of thrall to help them lure in their victims. That, combined with his demonic incubus traits, Eliza was practically giddy at the thought and all this time, Coran had been trying to deny this ability, this power. He could have had the city eating out of the palm of his hand, and instead, he chose to ignore it. It was a waste, Eliza had spent years of study and work to get where she was, and some people were just born with it. Shame.

However, when Cass's breathing changed, Eliza was distracted from her thoughts of power. Cass's body had quickly gone from pristine to bloody and bruised, while Coran's barely resembled anything human anymore. " Looks like the funs over," she said, reaching her hand out to the pair and calling her blood back to her. The blood on the pair's foreheads lifted from their skin and moved across the air, and she caught it in her palm again. The blood sunk into her skin, and the wound on her palm was finally allowed to heal; the spell was over.

She stood up, stepping over the pair as she made her way to the door. Coran's body was already reverting to its human form. " Don't worry, beasty; I'll let you out to play again soon,"  she smirked as she cast an eye over Cass. It was perhaps cruel to let things go this far, but maybe now Coran had a taste of real power; she wouldn't have to go to such extremes to teach him a lesson. Cass would survive; she would ensure that she could slip some tonics in her teas to help her heal, and this would all be a memory. An unforgettable memory for the pair of them. She grabbed the handle of the door and stepped out before looking back. " Wake up, Coran; Cass needs you," she said as she laughed, closing the door behind her, leaving Coran to deal with the aftermath.

Morning Routine: Tag Peter & Coran - Page 2 Empty Re: Morning Routine: Tag Peter & Coran

Post by Coran ValencieMon 8 May 2023 - 17:45

Coran drove against Cass again and again, chasing his high from moments before, desperate to feel it again as the sensation dwindled with the ebbing life force from the broken woman in his arms. He was almost frantic, feeling her life force slipping away, but not because she was dying-no, but because the euphoria was fading, and he instantly craved it enough to make him shake the lifeless woman within his arms, frustration cracking his face as he shouted at her, demanding her to wake up.
His body sang with energy, making the world vibrate all around him. He felt sensations he'd never dreamed of as his senses expanded past anything he had known physically possible. He'd felt pure ecstasy for the first time and wasn't ready to let go of it, even if that meant killing the now meaningless woman in his arms, with the voice of reason long drowned out.

She sagged against him, and Coran's frustrations grew upon his cracked hand and reached up to encircle her throat, pinning her back to the wall as he pushed in closer, roughly shaking her in an attempt to wake her, ignorant of the grey tinge to her skin he hungrily pushed his lips against her's feeling how cold they'd become.

"I said...I'm not finished!" he growled in frustration, reversing some energy to flood back into her system, feeding her from his reserve until a horse gasp came from her constricted throat, semi-consciousness filling her eyes as they opened to look at him with confusion, her hand frantically gripping at his bicep as he shuddered, feeling her body respond to him again. "That's it!" he gasped, feeling himself quickening against the renewed constriction of her muscles against him. "Stay awake..." he demanded, feeding little slivers of energy into her as her body heated up against him, his hips driving up against her with enough force to crack bone. She tightened against him, her mouth twisting in a silent scream as he held firmly against her throat, in the final moments of climax, fingers bruising her windpipe as he tensed through his pleasure, his body shuddering as he pushed against her, feeling her go lifeless in his arms once again.

That's when the world shuddered around him. His body screamed with energy that flooded every atom of his being, but something else tugged at him, pulling the cord on sanity as he heard his name summoned by a simple command.
" Wake up, Coran; Cass needs you."

Coran sprung to life with a gasp, his eyes flashing amber before changing back to their natural blue as he sat bolt upright. He felt electrified, and it felt good. But he also felt urgency, his eyes instantly seeking Cass, until he found her lying beside him, a gasp leaving his pale lips as he scrambled onto his knees, his hands going to cup her face.
"Cass-" he gently shook her, feeling how cold she was "Cass, wake up!" his eyes scanned her. It looked like she had been hit by a truck, and he scanned the room for danger before memories flooded him, making him let out a sob of guilt as he looked back at her again.

Yet he didn't have time to break down. Not when he realized that her lips were becoming bluer by the second. "What have I done!" he gasped huddling over her, his fingers pressing against the side of her rapidly bruised throat. "Fuck...Fuck!" he couldn't feel anything, he certainly couldn't hear anything. "Ok..ok," he panicked grabbing his phone and quickly hammered his automated emergency text out to Peter.

He rolled Cass onto her back, tearing open her blouse before he lifted her chin, breathing two deep rescue breaths into her, praying that Peter would get there as soon as possible to grab a defib.
"Come on, Please!" he sobbed, distraught as he started compressions, flinching with every crack of her ribs. "Come on Cass! Breathe, you have to breathe for me..." he cried, watching her body limply rock against the movement of his compressions. "I'm sorry, please just breathe!"

Walking briskly through the streets, May only had an hour before the pups were finished with tutoring. Time alone was precious, especially for May, but the pups were finally starting to come into their own. They were learning to use their abilities and becoming more independent. However, there were countless mouths to feed, a never-ending hill of clothes to be washed, toys and books to be cleaned and not to mention how hard it was to keep that many kids clean at once. But May never complained, not once, and especially not to Zigan. He had been the packs rock since her father's death and Kyro's disappearance. He had been her rock, and the least she could do was ensure he didn't have to worry about their family. But she would be lying to herself if she didn't admit she had noticed Zigan's age creeping up on him, and the burden of the twelve pups weighed heavy on her, and she had finally decided to bite the bullet.

Walking around the clinic, May headed toward the back of the building where the " private entrance " was located. She had " borrowed " Zigan's card to the clinic to quietly slip in to see Cass. She was already taking some pills, which had worked for the last few years, but there had been more than one scare over the previous few years when May had forgotten to take the pill. She was determined that last week's near miss would be their last. Cass had spoken to her a few years ago about her options, and while they all seemed rather drastic, desperate times called for desperate measures.

Pressing the card against the door, the lock clicked, and May stepped inside. She pulled the fur-lined hood off her head, and her black bouncy curls fell around her face. " Cass? It's me, May," she called out happily before a wave of conflicting emotions hit her hard. Her hand reached across her abdomen as the guilt made her want to vomit. She looked around, confused, not sure what was going on. Guilt, lust, desperation... there were so many conflicting emotions that May felt overwhelmed for the first time in a long time. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath; she imagined a magnolia tree with her father beneath it, smiling at her as the blossoms fell around him.

Smiling, May opened her eyes. Now centred, she moved toward the source of the opposing emotions. " I'm sorry, please just breathe! " the voice was frantic, and May feared the worst as she entered a treatment room where her eyes grew wide at the sight before her. " Coran?... Oh my god, Cass... " May moved quickly toward them, watching as Coran tried to revive her. " What happened? Who did this? " May asked, wondering what immortal in their right mind would attack Cass here of all places. This place was like a sanctuary to all immortals, and everyone knew Cass was protected. Only someone with a death wish would hurt Cass, and that is when May looked at Coran and felt the guilt and regret pouring out of Coran. " Coran... what did you do? " May asked, wondering if he was even safe to be around Cass right now. May didn't know exactly what had happened between the pair, but she had never felt the kind of guilt radiating from Coran as he begged Cass to breathe.

Biting on her lip, she decided whatever had happened must have been an accident; Coran loved Cass, May knew that, and she couldn't believe he would intently do this, despite the hand print slowly turning purple across Cass's throat. ' Please be a case of blood lust.. ' she thought as she placed a hand over Coran's, pushing calm into him. " Coran, you'll crush her heart before you restart it, let me. " she urged Coran's hands off Cass's chest, which was bruised and broken from his forceful CPR. Maylin placed her hands on Cass's chest and began pressing firmly but not bone-breakingly. If she had allowed Coran to continue, he would have pushed straight threw Cass and to the floor. Could he not see that? May pump but kept a watchful eye on Coran and monitored his emotions. She knew Coran didn't mean Cass harm, at least for right now, he didn't, but there was no way of telling what had caused him to hurt Cass or if he would turn on her too.

Morning Routine: Tag Peter & Coran - Page 2 Empty Re: Morning Routine: Tag Peter & Coran

Post by Coran ValencieSun 11 Jun 2023 - 16:02

Cass was unresponsive for what seemed like an eternity, and Coran was getting more distraught by the second. He'd just destroyed the alliance. He had single-handedly ruined the only chance the Immortals had in Saints by betraying the protection he had extended to them. Everything was over in the blink of an eye. The fallout from this would be catastrophic. But he didn't care about any of that as he frantically tried to bring Cass back to life.
Coran was a complicated man, he's never been able to express himself to the woman before, yet he didn't doubt his feelings for her. Cass was the love of his life, and now she lay broken and lifeless beneath him- because of him.
He didn't know how it had happened. He didn't care. All that mattered now was saving her life.
It was the only thing that mattered. But Cass was dying. Coran could feel her getting colder, he could see the blue turn to grey, and he felt his heart tear into a thousand sharp pieces that felt like they would rip his chest open, and he welcomed it, hoping that he would die with her.

He was too distraught to notice Maylin until she was beside him, her voice firm as she questioned him. "M-May!" he gasped, not of a sound mind enough to try and conceal his overwhelming distress from her. The calm collected Coran she knew was long gone. He was inconsolable and losing it more by the second.
"I-I fuck, I don't know," he shook his head, trying to clear it, still trying to get a response from Cass while he tried to remember why he'd done such an awful thing.

Maylin reached over, putting her warm hand over his, and he panicked, thinking that she wanted him to stop. "No...No I can't," he gasped, yet he suddenly felt a reprieve from the blinding anxiety that had him in complete hysterics. He was still beside himself, yet he had the clarity to hear her and soon pulled away, giving space so Maylin could take over from him.

He stumbled onto his feet, tripping until his back met a bookshelf on the opposite side of the room. "I'm sorry," he gasped, his hands curling into his hair as tears rolled down his face. Cass's body was broken. Coran could smell the blood. He could see the devastation, and he knew that he'd caused all of it.
"I hurt her, May!" He gasped as Maylin set about doing compressions on the still-lifeless woman. "I did this!" this had to be a nightmare...it had to be, but he knew it wasn't. His heart which was usually so very slow, hammered behind his ribs, making him feel breathless as the panic returned to him in an overwhelming surge. "I killed her... I've really killed her...I did this..." he sobbed, taking a step closer again.

"Don't fucking move!" came a shout from the doorway, startling Coran, who twisted to see a horrified-looking Peter standing there with his gun drawn. "Don't move, Coran. I'm warning you!" he shouted again, but Coran wasn't listening. All he could hear was the sound of Maylin's revival attempts.
"I can't...I can't. I have to do something," he sobbed, turning back to the woman before he took a step closer.

Peter's voice hardly reached him as his damp eyes moved to see Cass's body. Coran barely noticed the words that he shouted at him. Until an explosion sounded behind him, and a force hit him in the back with the weight of a freight train. Pain rippled through him as the bullet exited out the front, spraying blood onto the wall opposite him, sprinkling both Maylin and Cass with a crimson rain as he stumbled to take a knee, his blue eyes widening in confusion as the air shot out of his lungs in a forceful exhale.

Peter was there before he hit the floor, his hands firm on his shoulders as he pulled him onto his feet, dragging him back into the corridor where he eased him against a wall, gently sliding him into a sitting position. "I killed her Peter!" he gasped, as his friend stepped away from him, aiming the gun at him again with an expression of betrayal and shock. "I'm sorry...just do it," he urged him, "Do us all a favour and shoot me."

Morning Routine: Tag Peter & Coran - Page 2 Empty Re: Morning Routine: Tag Peter & Coran

Post by Peter RipleySun 11 Jun 2023 - 22:24

Peter was settling down to rest after working through the night. He closed his heavy aching eyes when the phone vibrated against his bedside table, making him jump.
He sat bolt upright and grabbed it, thumbing at the screen as his blurry eyes tried to focus on the text message that had pulled him out of the blissful ignorance of sleep. "What now?" he groaned, pulling up a text that had him pulling his boots back on within seconds.
Coran wasn't one for exaggerating. He'd sent out an SOS, and Peter knew to take that seriously.

He was heading out of the Warehouse within two minutes, his fingers tapping against his phone while he headed for one of the plain-looking jeeps he normally used.
Climbing inside, he buckled up his seat belt and turned his eyes to the phone screen "Come on!" he sighed in frustration before a series of pings located exactly where Coran was.

He was in the Clinic as Peter suspected, and he reversed the car at speed, wondering what the hell could have gone wrong. Cass had taken Coran there to check him out. There wasn't anything shady about it.
Yet he suddenly felt nauseous with anxiety, a feeling of dread twisting his stomach as he drove at speed through Saints until he skidded up outside of the clinic.

He jumped out of the van and pulled his weapon, holding it up in a defensive position as he entered the building. Everything looked fine at a glance, so he kept moving, being mindful to minimise the sound of his feet as he made his way deeper into the clinic.

It wasn't until he moved closer to the treatment rooms that he heard voices. It sounded like Coran, and he was distraught.
"I hurt her, May! I did this!" came his cries as Peter instinctually frowned.
He lifted the gun higher and drew a breath, preparing himself for whatever awaited him on the other side of the corridor.

"I killed her... I've really killed her...I did this..."
"What the fuck?" he muttered, stepping around the corner. He couldn't be prepared for what he saw. Maylin was doing compressions on a very dead-looking Cass- his friend. While his best friend cried, pleading his guilt.

"Don't fucking move!" he shouted as he pointed his gun directly at Coran. It felt unnatural, but the scene spoke for itself.
Coran turned towards him, and Peter readjusted his hands, keeping the gun trained on Coran's chest, just off from his heart.
"Don't move Coran! I'm warning you!" he shouted, feeling sweat coating his hands.
'Don't make me do this!' he thought urgently as Coran turned back to the two women.

He wasn't listening, and he moved closer to them. "Coran...Don't make me do this...I don't want to do this!" he shouted as his friend stepped closer. "FUCK!"
He had no choice and pulled the trigger, shuddering as the recoil slammed against his palms.

He rushed over as soon as he could, wrapping an arm over Coran's now bloody chest so he could drag him away from the women while Maylin shouted something that he couldn't hear, the gunshot still ringing in his ears.

He slumped Coran back against the wall, shaking hands lifting the gun again as he aimed at his friend once more. "Coran, stay down. Stay down, please. For God sake, stop moving!" he pleaded, though it seemed pointless.
His ears were ringing, but Maylin's voice behind him made both men let out a relieved gasp, "She has a heartbeat!" she called, but Peter didn't have long to relax as Coran got up faster than he could have anticipated.

"No..Don't!" Peter yelled as his friend tried to push past him, giving him no choice but to shoot again.
The barrel of the gun was poorly placed due to their position, and the bullet tore through Coran's chest in an upwards trajectory, busting a hole through the side of his throat.

This was a nightmare...Peter gasped, instantly dropping the gun as Coran's weight dropped against his chest-Peter's hands instantly gripping his shirt as both men were pulled down by Coran's weight, blood spraying over the pair and the ceiling above them until Peter's trembling hands moved to grab the wound, putting pressure on his throat to try and stop the bleeding as Coran's back slammed to the floor, his glassy eyes blinking slowly as the blood poured out of him like a waterfall.
"No...Shit, plea-please," Peter gasped, grappling to stop the bleeding as Coran struggled to breathe beneath his hands. "Hold on, OK...Hold on. I'm sorry...God, I'm sorry!" Peter gasped, watching blood starting to pool from Coran's now white lips.
"Help...Fuck, someone help!" Peter shouted, too scared to take his hands from Coran's throat, "We need some help in here!"

But it was no use. Coran's movements were slowing rapidly until they stopped altogether, his eyes dimming as the life drained from them until there was nothing left.
"N-no, no...Someone help...please...M-May he's dead..." he gasped, falling away from Coran, he kicked the floor, pushing his back against the table as he looked at his dead eyes. "What the fuck happened?"

' It really is astonishing, ' Eliza thought. How a group of capable immortals could flounder and fail so spectacularly but given these Immortals history she shouldn't have been surprised. Elizabeth watched what was unfolding in the room through the computer monitor at her desk. The situation was getting more and more out of control with every second. She had expected Corans' resolve to be stronger. Coran, stronger now then possibly ever before would have had the strength to restart Cass's heart easily and instead he was an inconsolable mess being comforted and influenced by a mediocre empath. An empath affecting an incubus, it really was pathetic. She had struck his achilles heel and he had crumbled. It did mean she had a mess now to clean up but she now knew exactly how to manipulate Coran to do whatever it was she wanted. But she would have to save his and Cass's life first.

Eliza left her desk and walked briskly towards the room as she heard the human calling out for help. She took a moment and remembered she was supposed to be a concerned mortal. Stepping into the open door she did her best to look horrified at what was unfolding in front of her. The human, Eliza, hadn't bothered to learn his name. He was powerless and insignificant in her opinion but he had made short work of Coran with a measle two bullets. Elizabeth was more than disappointed in Corans actions. The beast that had been in that room a few minutes ago would have brought them to their knees and thanked him for it. Now Coran was bleeding out on the floor.

Cass however had somehow managed to come back from the brink of death , that womans resolve to survive was unshakable yet Coran in his guilt ridden state seemed to embrace the relief of death. Unfortunately for him, he was no good to her dead. " Oh my God Cass! Is she OK? " Eliza asked as she dropped beside her and placed her hand on her arm. The wolf spoke but Eliza was focusing her magic on Cass, multiplying the blood within her. She couldn't fully heal her and reveal herself as a witch, not yet, but she could give her just enough blood to make sure her Cass's heart would keep beating.

" Her pulse is getting stronger. We should get her moved to the human side of the clinic until we can stabilise her." Eliza said and the wolf, although curious, agreed. She looked over at the human male who was cradling a dead Coran. " You need to go with her, you're human. I can't let an immortal into that side of the building. " The empath was trying to feel for something but hit Eliza's defences. Eliza didn't want her hanging around to pry any further. " Can you get to the warehouse? If word gets out that the clinic's director has been attacked, it'll be pandemonium and if Hope gets here...." the mention of Hope was enough encouragement to move the female and get her to leave, now she just had to convince the human.

Moving away from Cass, Elizabeth moved over to the human and Corans body. She was running out of time entertaining these theatrics. If she didn't bring Coran back imminently, his soul would have moved on and there would be nothing to bring back. " Go with Cass, there's nothing more you can do here. I'll take care of Coran." Eliza placed what would appear to be a comforting hand on his arm as she used a little magic to make sure the human would do as she asked. She watched the human take Cass into his arms and run out of the room leaving her with Corans body." You are starting to become more trouble than you are worth Mr. Valanchie." Eliza muttered as she placed her hands into the pool of fresh blood that had formed under Coran.

She closed her eyes and focussed on the precious liquid and sending it back where it belonged. The blood flowed backwards through the holes it had escaped, like the scene was playing in reverse. His hollow body plumped up but his heart was slow to respond. Eliza began to question her judgement at choosing Coran. He was a witch but also a demonic incubus. He could be one of the most powerful beings this realm knew but instead he suppressed his powers to play soldier. On top of that, he was willing to die over some woman. He really had a lot to learn but Eliza didn't give up that easily.

With the floor clean of any blood, Eliza lifted her hand and began clenching her fist over and over again. She forced his heart to contract and relax until it began to do so unaided. Eliza sat back on her legs and smirked as life returned to Corans body. She slowly rose from the floor while sucking the remnants of his blood off her fingers. She waited in silence till consciousness returned to the boy and his memories of what just happened returned to him. " My, my, what a mess you've made Coran." she spoke almost like it was humorous to her as she awaited his usual vitriol that he directed at her.

Morning Routine: Tag Peter & Coran - Page 2 Empty Re: Morning Routine: Tag Peter & Coran

Post by Coran ValencieSat 22 Jul 2023 - 20:34

The darkness that welcomes Coran didn't last for long, and the man soon found himself thrown into jumbled memories. They came thick and fast, forcing him to relive all of the worst moments of his long life. Images of Rucka, Nik, Erebus, Cass, KnOT, and so many others ran through his mind, flickering in a torture-like slide show of pain.
He was in his own personal hell, or at least he thought he was until he woke with a gasp.

His heavy lids shot open, his bloodshot eyes taking in the clinic around him as Eliza's unwelcome voice filled his senses. Blue eyes darted around the room for a few seconds, filled with uncertain confusion until the memories came. And he remembered it all.

"Oh...Jesus..." he groaned feeling as though he'd been hit in the head with a sledgehammer. His thoughts were rearranging themselves in order, and an overwhelming anxious guilt filled him from head to toe, making him feel something far deeper than panic.
"What the fuck did you do to me?" he gasped, pushing himself against the wall so that he could slide back up it, his head still swimming but clearing by the second.

"What did you do?" he hissed at the witch, feeling anger seeth through him. His emotions were all over the place, and he struggled to hold onto his sanity as he stumbled to the desk, his fingers wrapping around it for stability as he looked at the woman with such deep hatred.
"Where is she?" he muttered, breaking his eyes away from her to search for Cass "Where are they?" he muttered, remembering May, then he flinched as the memory of Peter shooting him flashed through his mind.

"Is she dead?" he wasn't giving her time to answer him, his mind reeling as he stepped around the desk, moving closer to the door as he walked passed the woman, who now didn't seem to matter anymore. He wanted to find Cass, he needed to know if she was alive...but... He stopped a pained confusion filling his eyes as he forced himself to pause, fearing that he was still a danger. What if she was alive and he lost control again, he doubted she would survive a second time.
"Fuck..." he cursed himself, turning to look at the witch again, wishing he could obliterate her where she stood.

His eyes narrowed on her, seeing his she looked totally unbothered by the whole thing. This woman was pure evil and he despised her. "Why are you doing this to me, what are you trying to achieve?" he asked, stepping closer with a more menacing expression. He wanted to choke the life out of her, here and now and get this over with. She couldn't fuck with him anymore if she was dead, yet he knew part of him needed her, he needed her to undo what she'd done to him, or at least tell him how to get control of the monster she had unlocked inside of him.

‘ What the fuck did you do to me? ‘ The question brought a sick smile to Eliza's lips as she stared down at the man as guilt and anxiety filled his very being. He braced himself against a wall as he tried to get himself back to his feet and continued to hurl accusations at her. No doubt he was trying to lay the blame at her feet to ease the burden on his conscience. Her face showed no hint of anger, in fact, she seemed amused at his pathetic attempts to rid himself of those unnecessary emotions. He stumbled across the room, he probably didn’t realise he had even died, his thoughts solely on that of Cass and his friends. She examined her nails and picked some lint off her clothes as she allowed Coran to rant as he allowed no time for her to answer his questions before he stumbled into the next. But then she saw it, the fire in his eyes as he silently threatened her. ‘ There’s hope for him yet. ‘ she thought as she brought her eyes to finally meet his.

“ Let’s get one thing straight Coran, what happened in this room was nobody's fault but yours. “ Her eyes sent their own threat as she rose from the seat so he could no longer speak down to her. “ You are the one who chose not to learn control. All I did was open a door, if you knew how to control your magic you could have shut it again. Then again, with Cass so willing... Why would you want to? “ she chuckled, laughing in his face as she took a step back and leaned against the table, sliding against the wood till she sat on top and crossed her legs. She was poking the bear, she knew deep inside Coran his little beasty was rattling the cage she had put him in and she wanted him to feel the strain. It was the only way he would learn just how little control he had over his demonic side, over any of his abilities. “ Whether you like it or not, you know the truth when you hear it Coran Valenchie. “

She let him stew in her words before she began to answer some of the questions he had. “ Cass is alive no thanks to you, the human who killed you is tending to her. “ she watched Coran’s reaction to her words as she continued. “ I should kill that human for what he did to you but I can’t blame him seeing as you made it so easy for him. You had so many options and yet you chose to die rather than try and save her when she was working so hard to try and save you. You were lucky I’m not done with the pair with you or it would have been tragic. “ she smirked taking pleasure in the pain he was in. His blood was simmering under his skin, she could feel it vibrating as he no doubt imagined the worst possible death he could inflict on her. It was cute he thought he could.

She slid off the table and stepped before Coran. She didn’t fear an untrained witch and wild incubus. “ What I am trying to achieve Coran, is some semblance of control and the only way I will get that is by you agreeing to the following terms. “ Eliza pulled at some string that was loose from the hole where Coran had been shot. Instead of the string unravelling, it began to close together, mending the fabric. “ You will meet with me once a week for some... training and you can hate it all you like but you will at least attempt to complete all the lessons. The longer it takes you, well the more we get to spend getting together. “ She knew Coran would refuse, would rather die then to work with her so she had to give him a gentle reminder at what was at stake. She leaned in close, her lips almost brushing his ear as a nail trailed down his arm. If his beasty wasn’t rabid before, it would be now. “ I don’t need to tell you what could happen to those you care about if you fail. “ She pulled back, seeing the effects she had on him and smirking.

She turned her back to him and allowed him to spiral as he fought with his inner demon and she took a seat once again before glancing back at him to give him one last incentive if the threat wasn’t enough. “ If you attend then I’ll ensure that Cass is safe from any more.... encounters. “ Eliza chose her words carefully, the wording of a bargain particularly one with a demon was not one to be taken lightly. There was power in a bargain and Eliza was a master of them. She had backed Coran into a corner and knew there were two possible options. He could be like a wounded animal and lash out at the hand that tried to help him or he could put his tail between his legs and accept his fate. Given how he had rolled over and died only moments ago, Eliza liked her odds that Coran would be agreeing to her terms with little to no arguments. His heart would win over his head especially when it came to Cass. That was something they were going to have to work on.

Morning Routine: Tag Peter & Coran - Page 2 Empty Re: Morning Routine: Tag Peter & Coran

Post by Coran ValencieFri 18 Aug 2023 - 14:32

Eliza's smug smirk spread across her face, stretching it into an unkind expression as she looked at him like he was some form of cheap entertainment. His fists clenched at his sides, and that was all he could do to stop himself from flying across the room to throttle the life out of her sickening eyes. He despised the woman and the power she had over him. He wanted to kill her painfully, but he couldn't, not when she was the only one who understood what was happening to him. He was in a nightmare that he couldn't get out of. She had weaponized him, and he couldn't understand how or why. He was a danger now, and the thought of turning and fleeing from the city crossed his mind, tossing him into conflict as he stared with unhidden hatred at the woman.
He'd changed the fate of Saint's City, he'd protected it, and under that protection, he had managed to make a safe place for people like them. He kept Ox at bay, and if he left that would all change, he wouldn't be there to protect his city. Yet did the city now need protecting from him? He knew his loved ones did.

He contemplated goading Eliza then. He knew she was powerful beyond his understanding. She would be able to kill him, and probably wouldn't take much pushing. If he was dead he couldn't hurt anyone- yet knowing his luck the Witch would just bring him back as some kind of fucked up mind-controlled zombie to do her bidding.

The witch stood and Coran continued closer, stopping beside the desk as Eliza moved into a position of comfort, shooting back at him about how it was his fault. "The door would have stayed closed if it wasn't for you," he replied, barely keeping his voice calm as she commented on Cass's 'Willingness' His jaw immediately clamped in utter rage as he felt his muscled ripple with anger. He wanted to shut the woman's mouth there and then, but he kept himself under control, letting her finish.

'The human who killed you'
His eyes narrowed, darting away as he seemed to stare at nothing for a few minutes, His mind searched his memories, making sense of her words. He again recalled the image of Peter lifting a gun. The shot made him flinch, his eyes closing for a split second as his mind caught up with the truth. Peter killed him, and Coran sighed, his eyes reopening with a new sadness, knowing that his friend would have been traumatized by having to do such a thing to him. It was another reason to hate the witch, and he returned his gaze to her, keeping himself frozen to the spot while he felt the bubbling of power beneath his skin grow with intensity, wanting to break free again.

"Don't touch him," he snapped, his eyes shifting as blue sparks illuminated an amber gaze, his body instantly aching as though his skin wanted to tear. He took an intentional step back, trying to pull in a couple of calmer breaths, terrified of what would happen if he lost control again.
"Stay away from him. Stay away from all of them," he warned, feeling the threat.

Eliza hopped off of the table, following his retreat until he forced himself to stop moving, his eyes following the woman until she stopped directly in front of him. She was playing with him, and wasn't afraid of him in the slightest, it was enraging, yet also made him feel a helplessness he tried to swallow down.

Her proximity made the anger inside of him vibrate, increasing until he couldn't ignore the loud ringing in his ears. It was like she owned him now, she could draw this power out of him, and he had no way of taking back that control. Not unless she decided to teach him how to. He was reliant on her.
That realization made the breath stick in the back of his throat. He knew he needed her to undo whatever it was she had done. But he now realized it was much deeper than that. He needed her to an extent that made him feel sick.

She seemed to feel that shift in his mindset as she looked up at him with a look of ownership her words carrying demands as she instructed him like a teacher would a pupil.
He wanted to tell her to fuck off. His jaw tightened as he fought the urge to tell her to kill him where he stood, but he soon had a more urgent desire to worry about when she closed the space between them, her mouth close enough for him to hear heated breath against his ear as she ran a nail along his arm.

He felt his control instantly slip as his skin instantly cracked, darkening down the left side of his body, a heat consuming him as he moved away, turning his back to the woman as he tried to force it back down, his body humming with an energy that wanted to take over his senses and devour his control, yet he wouldn't let it, not again. Cass paid the price last time.

He paced away as she used Cass as bait for his agreement, and it worked. He would do anything to protect her. "I'll do it," he snapped, his voice almost completely demonic as it rattled from his chest.
"What do you gain from this?" she said she wanted him to learn control. But why? "What will you do once you have taught me control...I am not your weapon."

It amazed Eliza, how self-sacrificing this generation of Immortals was. Coran agreed far too readily for her liking to her bargain, he didn’t even attempt to negotiate the terms. He had much to learn, they all did but Eliza had her sights set on Coran and Cass right now. They were the first part of her plan and had played their parts exactly as she had expected. Far too predictable for her liking, particularly from the older Coran but, that was working to her advantage and she intended to use it. She smirked as Coran demanded she leave the human alone. Until today she hadn’t acknowledged his existence other than noting his connection to both Cass and Coran. She had feared the human was interested in pursuing Cass romantically but which would have been a fatal mistake on his part but luckily for him, their relationship had remained platonic. Still, maybe he could be used in the future if her hand was forced. “ Trust me Coran Valenchie, I have no interest in mere mortals. “ Eliza lied.

Coran, of course, blamed her for opening the door that his little beasty stormed out of but she didn’t care what he thought of her. She didn’t think that Coran truly believed that the door would have remained closed. Cass had been luring the beasty out for some time, Eliza had simply sped up the process so Coran could realise just how out of control he really was. Even her touch, as much as he despised it, despised her, was enough to set his desire alit. His beasty emerged as she beckoned him forward, his skin cracking and darkening at her touch. Coran was barely clinging to control and she had no doubt that had her hand been replaced by Cass’s, there would have been a real-life performance of what just played out in their dream.

“ What do you gain from this? “

Finally, a reasonable question, useless now as he had agreed to her terms but still at least he wasn’t a complete fool. She smiled wickedly as she admired her fingernails, not really caring what he thought her plan was. “ All in good time Coran Valenchie. “ she wasn’t sure her words were comforting or in any way reassuring, they weren’t intended to be but she could throw the dog a bone. She slowly rose from the seat again and walked till she was face to face with him once more. “ If I wanted a weapon Coran Valenchie, I could drive that beast inside into a frenzy that you would never emerge from again. “ A thinly veiled threat twisted with the truth. In Coran’s current state, it wouldn’t be hard to ensure that the Coran everyone knew was lost to his demonic desires. “ But where would the fun be in that. “ she chuckled feeling the anger vibrating off of him.

“ Now let’s get the formalities done so I can go make sure your lady love doesn’t die again today. “ Eliza reached out and grabbed Coran’s wrist holding it palm up between them. “ First lesson Valenchie, witches don’t make bargains without some guarantees. This is our guarantee. “ Her free hand reached up, fingers curled to expose the razor-sharp spike. “ This will hurt so try not to squirm. “ she smirked as she dragged it across his palm, making an intricate design of straight lines down his palm. Runes were a primitive form of magic in Eliza’s opinion but it was the closest magic to a demons. Coran would be ignorant of what the symbols meant but by the time he figured it out, it would already be done. Blood pooled to the surface but did not run or drip down his hand, Eliza not wanting to waste a drip after she went to all that effort to put it back in him.

With her marking complete, she let go of his hand and raised her own, her hand wrapping around the small point and slicing into her flesh. “ I vow, that should Coran Valenche attend my tutorage once a week as agreed, I will ensure the protection of Cassandra Blake from his incubus. But should he rescind on this agreement, that protection will be revoked. “ She held her bloodied palm out like she was about to shake Coran’s hand but refrained from grabbing it like before. “ You have you say you agree and shake my hand Coran and make it fast, Cass needs me. “ she knew her words would give Coran a sense of urgency that would erase any doubts he would have about going through with this bargain. He was foolish enough to make a blood pact with a blood witch but that’s what she had wanted. She needed to break him to make him desperate enough to allow her to build him back up again. He would be thanking her someday, this she was certain of. The question was, would it be too late?
