Rules & Guidelines

We here at Immortal Bloodlines want all our members to enjoy their time here. To do that, we have a short but essential list of rules and guidelines we ask all members and guests to abide by.
Please read them carefully, and if you have any questions or need anything clarified, do not hesitate to contact a member of the Admin Team.
* You must be 16 years of age or older to register an account.
* Bullying, name-calling or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.
* Respect one another and the Admin Team.
* This site is rated 18+. Please add an NSFW tag if your posts are graphic or sexual in nature.
* If you are away for any length of time, please say so in our Time Away board, located in the Free Speech Section, as a courtesy to the other members.
* All content on this site is the property of the person who created it, including biographies.
* New Users must have a biography written within a week of joining before they can post unless otherwise discussed with the Admin Team. Please see the Biography Guidelines thread regarding this topic.
* Writers not using tables must post at least 100 words per post. Members who use tables must have a word count of 150 to allow for the code.
* ERP ( erotic role play ) is allowed on-site; however, we ask that you add an NSFW tag to the thread and ass appropriate trigger warnings if necessary.
* Power playing is strictly forbidden. You cannot assume control of another person's character without their consent.
* Godmoding is forbidden. All characters must be killable and have weaknesses.
* Respect the character's abilities and their storyline.
* Discuss how you wish for a fight to play out before you begin the thread to avoid IRL conflict.
* You may post anywhere you like except for tagged thread, i.e. Tag: Cass. You must get the author's permission to join a tagged thread.
Here is what to do if you have an issue with a post.
1. - PM the Member and the Admin with the issue.
2. - If the Member does not respond within three days, place it in the General discussions boards in a POLITE manner.
3. - If you reach a solution or still no response, let the Admin know and proceed with your better judgement.
Immortal Bloodlines currently only has one administrator, Cashan. In the event, she is unavailable due to illness, injury etc. She defers her duties temporarily to Coran until she can return.
Admin asks that if you are planning a plot that affects the IB world, contact them first. For example, you must contact Admin if you plan to attack the Oxen Corporation HQ. However, you can kill or use the NPC soldiers in threads.
Please remember that we're here to moderate; if you are asked to do something by the administrator, please respect them and do it in a timely manner.
Any decision made by an Admin is FINAL. This is not a democracy, so don't say you weren't warned.
We are all human ( in real life ) and very reasonable, so please don't be afraid to get in contact for any reason.
Failure to comply with the Rules of this site can result in the following:
1. A Formal Warning
For minor offences, an Admin team member will PM or e-mail you with the complaint and a written warning regarding your conduct. This will not affect your posting ability.
2. A Temporary Ban
This will often follow a written warning or be issued if the matter is more serious such as bullying. The Admin Team will discuss and agree upon a set time you cannot access the site. You will be informed of this via e-mail and given a warning about your conduct.
3. A Permanent Ban and Removal From Site
We take this very seriously and will only be issued when all other warnings fail, and the rule-breaking continues. Your account will be removed, and your IP will be blocked. Your biography will be deleted, and you will no longer be welcome on our site.
