    A dormant volcano, Mount Hellion hasn't erupted in over ten thousand years. Geologists show great intrigue in the volcano to this day. Mountain climbers who scale the volcano will be treated to a swim in the lake that has formed within the old crater.

    The source of his brook comes from the crater on top of the mountain. Once the lake is full it falls down the side of the mountain. Because of the flow it picks up sediments from the mountain that changes the color of the water giving it reddish hue, hence the name.
